In our day to day life, it is easy for us to lose sight of our surrounding
landscapes. As our work days extend, our connections to nature weaken
and we fail to partake in the inherent healing that takes place on solid
ground and under an open sky.

In this portfolio of images, I invite viewers to fall into the natural world.
Here, I omit the figure, and by so strive to create intimate, intensely personal
experiences that transport the viewer into dreamlike, mystical places where
our existing yet forgotten relationships with nature can be restored. This is
the land beyond the looking glass and outside the window, one that is ever
present but nonetheless elusive unless intentionally sought out.

The images within this portfolio were created in special places that range
from those close to home to others amidst the riches of ancient Europe.
